are there any good exercises and diet tips for an apple shaped girl?

I have thin legs and arms but huge boobs and a bit of a belly. Just wondering if there’s any kind of foods I should eat on my diet to help me lose weight?
Also….the annoying thing is that when I get trousers I always have to go up a size…because i have slim legs, bum and thighs but a bit of a belly!! Any exercises I can do to help with this?

Is there such a thing as ‘Starvation effect’ that prevents weight loss when dieting?
I’ve been successfully losing weight for about the last five to six months (about 3 and a half stones so far), but recently the loss has begun to plateau, and it’s making me kind of cranky. I started at 20st5, and I’m aiming for around 15st. I’m eating a varied diet of around 1200-1400 calories a day, and doing an hour of heart-rate monitored aerobic exercise 4-5 times a week at the Gym (Bike and treadmill: the machines say I’m burning approx 800 calories per session). My job is extremely sedentary. Some friends have mentioned a ‘Starvation effect’ where I might be consuming *too little* and my metabolism is slowing down to compensate. I thought weight loss was a simple matter of ‘Energy in, Energy out’. Is it possible that I am eating too little or doing too much exercise? Stepping on the scales each week and only seeing a 1lb loss (if anything) is a little disheartening, but I know I’ve got further to go.

why is there so much info on weight loss instead of weight gain?
i find it really hard to keep weight on i do look healthy but wouldnt mind putting on a few more pounds everywhere not just in one place by eating junk, do you know of anywebsites for a balanced diet or weight gain tips ?

any clever medically minded people out there have any ideas about my extreme weight loss?
from jan this year i have kept losing weight and had unpleasant stomach problems. i have recently had endoscopy and colonoscopy and both clear, ( i have had problems with gastritis and h pylori in past but now ok) i had a baby last summer and put on loads weight but am now 5 stone lighter than when full term. Thyroid tests were also normal.i am a good stone and half below my normal weight, and eat well. its worrying me a lot, and hard to explain to people around me i don’t have an eating disorder. i’ve been under considerable stress, but i don’t think it would really cause me to lose this much weight. any opinions would be appreicated.

Is there any free weight loss diary’s you can download off the internet?
I was just wondering if there was any free weight loss diary’s that you could download off the internet to record how many calories you were eating, how much exercise you’ve done and how much weight you’ve lost. I downloaded the free trial of calorieking which was perfect, but i don’t have enough money to buy the full version :[
