I bought some of these in a bid to lose my last stone. After an hour or two of taking the tablets, I was getting stomach ache. After a week this was accompanied by appalling wind. They are really large ‘horse’ tablets, so not easy to swallow. Having paid quite a lot of money for them, I continued for the month. Apart from emptying the local gym (due to my flatulence)they did absolutely nothing. Despite healthy eating and exercisng at the gym 4 times a week, I lost no weight what so ever. Please do not buy these, Adios are no quick fix for losing weight.

I was sceptical about buying this product as i heard lots of good and bad things about this product. since taking the tablets, i have noticed hair loss, and weight gain despite including exercise in my diet and healthy eating!!!! not good!!!!

I first used adios a couple of years back when i was at weight watchers and my weight loss had slowed down

the first week of using them i lost 4 1/2 lbs the previous week without adios id only managed to lose 1/2 lb

i hadnt done anything different other than take these pills so they can work if you are following a diet with them they wont work miracles if you dont diet while taking them. As for the hair loss side effect i actually do think thats true im not talking about clumps of hair falling out but i was losing more than normal while brushing and washing my hair. so i would only recommend trying them for a few weeks definately no more than that.

These are a complete con. i do honestly believe that the ‘positive’ blogs are posted there by the manufacturer/distributor/seller. I have never bothered writing a review – but do buy an incredible amount via the internet and from amazon. however, i am so terribly disappointed by these tablets that i had to share my disappointment and on-pass my views. if you go head and purchase them – they will probably work if you have so much will-power that you would have succeeded anyway!

Like the previous reviewer, I was sceptical, but having read the horrendous side effects of another fat-binding product recently on the market (Alli), I also researched Lipobind and couldn’t find any reports of adverse nasty unexpected “accidents”. Then I discovered my daughter uses them and has lost over 2 stone recently. So I tried them, and I have to say I have lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks. I have not done any extra exercise, but I have reduced my fat intake. Having said this, I’ve tried reducing my fat intake many times before without losing much more than about 5 or 6 lbs. So on that basis, I have to say they do definitely work, I have not suffered any side-effects whatsoever (not even bloating, wind or constipation).

They are herbal-based so non-addictive. I would recommend giving them a try, and see for yourself.

As a man who was at least four stone overweight but without the necessary will power to `go it alone’ as it were, Alli seemed like something worth trying.

Having read and listened to many of the reviews about Alli, all of which referenced the gory side effects, it was with trepidation that I decided to start a course of the drug.

Following all of the rules…

…I began cutting down on fatty foods about a week before taking Alli. Then, anxious about the possibility of over-staying my welcome in the bathroom, I decided to eat more healthily more of the time without being obsessive about it. Cereal for breakfast, one or two Special K chocolate chip bars throughout the day if I felt hungry (these taste fine but are not so delicious that you want to eat a whole pack) and salad of my own making at lunchtime – tuna, egg, cottage cheese, lettuce…that sort of thing.

For my evening meal, I sought out low-fat ready-meals. I’m not a ready-meal fan but in the short-term the Heinz Weight Watchers range has proven quite tasty (relatively speaking) and there’s enough variety to keep me interested throughout the week. Importantly, they have allowed me greater control over my fat intake.

So far as alcohol is concerned, I like it, especially wine…so I still drink wine, mostly sensibly, sometimes not.

The final analysis…

No noticeable side-effects. Over the last month, I have lost an average of three pounds a week and people are starting to notice.

The threat of long spells in the bathroom is a great motivator not to maintain a diet of steaks and Big Macs although I have enjoyed a Chicken Sandwich and fries a couple of times in the last month…just because I felt like it.

Once the weight starts to drop off, the slight change of pace and life-style actually becomes fun and regular exercise – 35 minutes walk three or four times a week – can be very pleasant especially now that the weather has improved.

If you’re looking to make a decision about Alli, my advice would be if it doesn’t break the bank, if you’re able to make a few simple and not so painful changes to your diet without obsessing about it and if you’re prepared to honour the tablets usefulness by taking a little exercise, give it a go.

After reading hundreds of mixed reviews on alli I decided to give it a go. My BMI was dead on 28 which made me suitable for alli. I was expecting mad rushes to the loo and a risk of incontinence! I followed the guidelines for each meal, sticking to my fat allowance. I had to look up the fat content on everything I ate! Boy I did not realise how much fat I was consuming before alli! This is one of the reasons why I would recommend alli, it re-educates your mind and makes you aware of what you’re eating. I have had no side effects what so ever, one of my friends is a pharmacist which is great! He said if you consume a mcdonalds containing 80g of fat, your body will expell 20g of fat. (serious rush to the loo) However if you consume the recommended 15-20g of fat you will only expell 5g of fat, normal stroll to the loo! I am delighted with the results, in a week I have lost 2 inches around my waiste and 5lb of fat. Great result! You must take a multi vitamin before going to bed, as vitamins are fat soluble and will pass through the body, which may leave you vitamin defficient. So take good quality vitamins especially a,c,d and e. Drink 8 glasses of water and your on your way. If you know you are going to go out for a fatty meal DO NOT TAKE THE TABLET, as you may have a very embarrassing experience! Good Luck!

I got this item monday and recieved it today which is great service to say it has been a bank holiday….I only started to take the product today so can not really comment if it works but tonight i seemed to be fuller alot quicker than i normally do and wasted half of my tea which i never do..so hopefully after my body has got used to it it will work…but i will keep updated…top seller though 5****

Update…Had this product quite a while now and i must say it does work…it takes a while to work but you have to let your body get used to these tablets but im losing wieght slowly but surely which i prefer as i dont want it to work super fast other wise id look ill which i dont want to look…But i have lsot all together about 3st which im happy with and ive had loads of comments pon people saying i look good and main thing healthy for it I have only had one side affect which was the first 2 nights i was wide awake all night but has now stopped and my sister in law has these she had the same problem for 2 days and has stopped…so thumbs up

Delivery was fast! Got the product and immediately tried it the following day.

Weird thing is that I felt the following whilst on it:

1. Mild depression – very odd indeed as I am usually happy and cheerful. I felt sad and melancholic on the days I took the diet pill

2. Slower brain procesing capacity – I was in meetings and was not my usual sharp self.

Definitely the above effects were caused by the ingredients. I am not saying they are harmful in general, but they certainly affected me. Must be on a case by case basis.

So just be careful!

I have been taking Alli for ten days to help lose the last 12lb of baby fat. I read the instruction leaflets very carefully and have reduced my fat intake accordingly. It has stopped me snacking through worry of experiencing the side effects which has been positive. I have lost 4lb in the ten day period and am just about to order some more. Last weekend I went out so did not take a pill in the evening and I was still fine. If people eat pizza or mcdonalds whilst taking a fat inhibitor then a stomach upset is to be expected. It helps focus my eating discipline and that is obviously what I personally needed hence the weight loss.

I have lost about a stone so far, over a 6 week period. It’s not a fast cure but with exercise can provide results. You need to watch your diet and if you are eating really fatty foods then you can have the side effects mentioned on the leaflet, but sticking to a lower fat diet works best. I still have my splurges and eat bad things but I allow for them and make sure I am going to be home that day, it’s just about planning and getting out of the snacking habits. I am not after fast weight loss I prefer the slower pace so I can change my habits gradually as if you try to lose too fast you will end up gaining it all back.
